KPN Selects Atreus’ IP Service Provisioning Solution For Self-Service Business VoIP Launch Alcatel-Lucent and Atreus Empowers KPN to Deploy Differentiated Self-Service TeleManagement World, Ottawa, ON – May 22, 2007 – Atreus Systems™, the leading supplier of provisioning software for VoIP and IMS-based services, today announced that its IP Service Provisioning Solution has been selected by KPN, the incumbent operator in the Netherlands, to deploy a full range of VoIP business applications for their small business and enterprise customers. KPN has signed Alcatel-Lucent to manage the deployment and integration of its IP network whereby most of the current (legacy) platforms and services will be migrated to Next Generation Network platforms and Next Generation based Services. Using Atreus as a single, robust service delivery system, KPN will streamline service ordering and provisioning using intuitive self-management portals; simplify feature bundle creation and management capabilities; automate IP phone ordering, shipment and configuration; and simplify complex operational tasks including PSTN interconnect, number portability, directory listing updates and emergency services.
