Spirit Telecom Deploys Atreus IP Service Provisioning Solution Atreus Systems Empowers Spirit Telecom to Become Operational Fall VON, Boston, MA - September 11, 2006 – Atreus Systems™, the leading supplier of provisioning software for VoIP, IMS and advanced IP service bundles, today announced Spirit Telecom has successfully deployed Atreus’ IP Service Provisioning Solution to activate and manage its wholesale and retail hosted VoIP services for business and residential customers. Spirit Telecom, the Columbia, SC-based competitive local exchange carrier is owned by a group of eighteen independent and cooperative telephone operating companies in the Southeast United States. Currently in production, Atreus is empowering Spirit to streamline service ordering and provisioning using simplified, self-management portals; simplify feature bundle creation and management capabilities; automate IP phone ordering, shipment and configuration; and simplify complex operational issues including PSTN interconnect, Local Number Portability, Updating Directory Listings and emergency services.
