Description:

The sales engineer will be responsible supporting sales executives in achieving region revenue objectives. This position must work closely with sales executives to develop existing customer accounts, build direct sales and work with the company’s channel partners to accelerate revenue growth. The ability to work with other members of the firm’s product, marketing and development teams is critical, particularly as it relates to gathering requirements, preparing customer proposals, and setting customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver presentations that succinctly capture Atreus solutions benefits and how they address specific customer needs.
• Prepare and manage requirements-gathering workshops, working with the customer to identify and document integration and process requirements for implementations.
• Support channel partners market and sell the Atreus solutions.
• Plan and deliver both high-level and detailed product demonstrations focusing on how Atreus solutions meet specific customer requirements.
• Act as the technical prime for RFx responses, coordinating a team of people contributing to the overall response.
• Document market feedback on current products and services, competitive strengths and threats.

• Must be able to travel up to 50% of time.

Education/Qualifications:

• The sales engineer will be a seasoned, polished professional with finely developed communication skills able to effectively articulate complex technical solutions and appropriately positioning value propositions.
• Strong presentation skills are essential and the candidate must be comfortable speaking in front of large groups and to executive audiences.
• This individual must have a minimum of 5 years experience supporting sales of OSS solutions to the Telecommunications segment and familiarity with the OSS competitive landscape.
• BS/BA in a related field (Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent) is required.
• A solid understanding of VoIP and related technologies is desirable.
