The product manager is responsible for the definition and evolution of products to support the growth of Atreus Systems. This includes working closely with customers and customer-facing organizations (sales, BD and marketing) for collecting and prioritizing product requirements.  The product manager will assist in providing product and technology assessments within the context of the competitive landscape and Atreus business direction. The product manager will work closely with the development team to define the contents and delivery of a product or customer solution.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• Specifying requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by Atreus customer-facing organizations.
• Be the internal product champion for approved new initiatives across the company (sales, R&D, Marketing, etc.).
• Interacting with the business development team to identify and drive partnerships to ensure delivery of a complete deployable solution.
• Maintain the product roadmap.
• Work with sales on advanced sales, including assist in the response to RFI/RFP/RFQ. Deliver customer presentations related to product positioning and evolution.

Education/Qualifications:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• MBA an asset.
• 5+ years of software product planning or product management experience.
• Knowledgeable in IP technology and OSS solutions.  In-depth knowledge of VoIP, IMS etc. an asset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as experience presenting to large and diverse audiences.
• Ability to write clear, market-driven product requirements.
• Strong ability to multitask and manage change in a fast paced environment.
• Proven team player experience.
