Atreus is looking for highly motivated software designers to design and implement software in a J2EE environment. The software includes creation, provisioning and activation solutions for VoIP, connectivity, collaboration and desktop services, which run on Atreus’ xAuthority™, a new-generation OSS.

At Atreus, software designers participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including: requirements analysis, feature specification, design, implementation, unit test and integration, and system testing. Additionally, our intermediate and senior software designers have the opportunities for customer interaction in the form of requirements analysis and solution deployment

Desired Skills and Experience

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Senior Designers: 10+ years as a software designer
• Intermediate Designers: 3+ years as a software designer
• Experienced in full life cycle of software development: requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing
• 2+ years demonstrated experience developing and deploying software in a J2EE environment, preferably on BEA WebLogic
• Expert level skills in EJB and Web applications development and deployment.
• Knowledge of XML technologies, including Web services
• An in-depth understanding of object oriented analysis and design with UML
• JDBC, JDO, and Entity Bean persistence
• Oracle
• J2EE technology (EJB, JSP, Servlets, JMS, JDBC, Struts)
• HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Strong ability to multitask and manage change in a fast paced environment,
• Proven team player experience
