Service Development Support for Atreus direct customers and channels that have licensed the Atreus Developer Program. This person will primarily be helping the developers in providing technical training and implementation support for xAuthority APIs. The support issues will involve training, coding support as well as configuration, testing and deployment assistance. Ability to deliver training to small groups of developers, build samples code, white papers and FAQs is an important part of this job. This person will work very closely with the Development and Professional Services and will own communication of developer issues, status and escalations to various organization managers. Candidate must be motivated and enjoy working with developers.

Responsibilities:

Development Support Multi-tasking

• Developer Support for named customer/channel accounts
  • Engagement with external developers for Atreus service development:
    • Targeted Developer Training
    • Design Recommendations
    • Problem escalation
    • Information Requests
    • Install and deployment
    • Troubleshooting
  • May be required to collaborate on customer site in development activities
  • North American Business hour support
    • May be required to perform after hours support on a planned incident basis
• Contribute towards Product Defect repair and Change Requests to Atreus products that are in support of customer development activities
• Must have experience with or learn all aspects of the Atreus products
• May be required to apply QA testing for developer directed patches
• Edit/write Knowledgebase articles related to development practices
• Document technical papers for directed developer support
• May be required to collaborate in customer implementation activities
• Enthusiasm for relationship building with customer development team

Minimum Requirements:

• 10+ years demonstrated experience as a software designer.
• 2+ years demonstrated experience developing and deploying software in a J2EE environment, preferably on BEA WebLogic
• Expert level skills in EJB and Web applications development and deployment.
• Experience delivering technical seminars to a developer audience.
• Knowledge of XML technologies, including Web services.
• An in-depth understanding of object oriented analysis and design with UML.
• Facilitation and strong oral & written communications skills.
• Experience writing technical documentation.
• Working experience with Solaris and Linux.

Desired Requirements:

• Experience with JDBC, JDO, and Entity Bean persistence.
• Experience with Oracle and LDAP.
• Experience with Eclipse and UML Modeling tools(Borland Together)
